how is this place in business? they are a scam. i have hair extensions on & i usually get charged $50-70 bucks to wash & dry my hair, my usual place who charges me $50 was closed so i washed my hair but got lazy so i decided to pop in since its fairly close to my house just so they could blow dry it since i was heading out of town the next day... the owner priced me at $105... TO DRY MY HAIR?!?! i laughed in her face & basically ran out. who in their right mind would charge $105 JUST to blow dry your hair? idk how they are in business but that price showed me why they were the only salon in town that was empty. ridiculous.

The good: the woman giving me a hair cut listened and cut it how I asked.The bad: I asked for a consult for a straightening treatment (I've done them in the past and know what works) and I explained to them that keratin treatments do not work on my hair, since I wasted money on those in the past as well.. They insisted it was the right thing for me, and other treatments would be overkill.. I gave in, let them do the treatment, followed all the post treatment care (no running/sweating for 72 hours, no hair washing for over 72 hours, use only shampoo/conditioner safe for keratin treated hair), and when I washed my hair on the 4th day, it was just as curly and frizzy as I predicted it would be.I personally definitely won't go back, but if you just need a hair cut, it should be fine.

Came here for my eyebrows. The lady that I had did a really great job with my eyebrows. I also went for the tinting. Kind of a mistake for me as a first time. Tinting was alittle too much for me. So if you are thinking abt tinting, think carefully before you go for it. Eyebrows, no problem. They also do hair there. Haven't try doing my hair there yet, but will give it a shot one day

I've been to the Frank E. Rodgers location about 4 times. It's close to home and convenient, but I'd rather drive 20+ minutes for a quality mani/pedi. This past weekend, I went in for a full set removal, dip mani, and gel pedi. The pedicure was decent. Usually they don't scrub my feet well enough, so I have to go home to do my own callous remover. As the tech was removing my set, she was talking about the quality of my nails and the difficulty to remove my set to the pedicure tech in Spanish. I'm not of Latina decent but am partially fluent in Spanish and understood every word! By the next afternoon, two of my nails had lifted gel, so I just had to peel it off. Two more nails are on their way out. I called the Bergen hair salon and spoke to an owner regarding coming in today for a re-do. She said she'd call me back after checking the Kearny's location schedule, but didn't. Over it. I won't spend another dime here. The Bergen St. location had better mani techs, especially Terri on the dip nails, but I'm not sure if they're re-opening. Boooooo

If I could I'd leave a ZERO review. I went to ZIZI Nails in Harrison, that's owned by the same person. I went to get a gel manicure and less than 2 hours I was back because they had lifted. The lady that did my nails Norma redid that nail. After they closed I realized multiple nails had lifted up WHICH DOESNT HAPPEN WHEN YOU GET GEL. I spoke to the boss Bella she said they'd change the color maybe it was a bad color, I sat with someone different. They filed my natural nails down so much it burned to wash them then my nails all cracked AND THR CHIPPING STARTED AGAIN. This is alllll within 3-4 days of getting my nails done and Bella said if I wanted it fixed I'd have to pay full price.
