The Clallam County League of Women Voters (LWVCLA) along with co-sponsor North Olympic Library System (NOLS) will facilitate three (3) Primary Candidate Zoom Forums on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the following races:
- Sequim School District 323, Director At Large;
- Fire District 3; and
- Hospital District 2, Commissioner At Large.
The three forums held on one night will help voters become better informed about the candidates running for these positions. We request that voters email their concise questions for the candidates in advance– by 5:00pm onJune 29th toinfo@lwvcla.orgwith the subject lineQuestion for Candidate Forum #1, #2, or #3.When submitting forum questions, please include your full name within the email.
At each forum,candidates in attendance will be invited to provide their qualifications, state why they are running, and state their goals for the office, if elected. The Clallam League made several attemptsto coordinate a primary candidate forum for FORKS CITY COUNCIL POSITION #1, however due to a lack of response from two of the three candidates, that forum is cancelled.Candidates are:
