That’s why we offer a flexible, no-hassle return and exchange policy:

Returns

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be returned in original condition with all materials, parts, packaging, etc.
  • Customized or specially ordered items may have different return policies—be sure to check with a sales associate at the time of purchase.
  • Defective items or items damaged in transit may be eligible for warranty replacement instead of a standard return. See our Warranties & Repairs Policy below for details.

Return Procedure:

  1. Bring the item(s) to any Music Go Round location along with your original receipt.
  2. A sales associate will inspect the item(s) and process your return or exchange.
  3. Refunds are issued promptly:
    • Cash payments will be refunded in cash
    • Credit card payments will be refunded to your card
    • Check payments will be refunded by a mailed company check

Please allow 7-10 business days for company check refunds to be processed. Rush processing may be available for an additional fee.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different model, simply bring in the item along with your receipt to any Music Go Round store within 45 days.

Our sales staff is happy to help you find the perfect replacement item—just let them know what you need! As long as you are exchanging for another model of equal or greater value, there is absolutely no fee.

If you exchange for an item of lesser value, the difference will be refunded via your original payment method. See our return procedure above for details.

Warranties & Repairs

Manufacturer Warranties: Many products, especially electronics, come with a manufacturer’s warranty covering defects and malfunctions. The length and terms vary depending on brand and model. Be sure to check all materials in your packaging for warranty information or talk to a sales rep for more details on the warranty period for any product.

Repair Services: In many cases, warranty issues may be addressed by our in-house repair staff instead of requiring a full return and exchange. Our knowledgeable technicians have years of experience with all types of musical equipment. If you notice any problems with functionality, bring the item into the store and we’ll take a look!

If the issue is not resolvable onsite and the product is still under manufacturer warranty, we will help facilitate sending the unit out for covered repair or replacement.

For out-of-warranty repair quotes, talk to a store manager.

Returns Due to Defect/Damage after Manufacturer Warranty: If an item stops functioning correctly or is damaged after the original manufacturer warranty has expired, Music Go Round staff will evaluate the item and provide an out-of-warranty repair quote. No functionality issues will be eligible for standard return/exchange if not covered under manufacturer warranty.

However, if the issue presents a health/safety concern (i.e. electric shock) or if damage occurred at the fault of Music Go Round (i.e. item was damaged in transit to customer or during an on-site repair), exceptions may be made to the standard policy. Talk to a store manager for more details.

Special Orders

Custom/Specially Ordered Items: For any custom builds or special factory orders, there may be different policies regarding returns, repairs, and warranty coverage. Talk to a sales representative before placing your custom order to understand any unique considerations that may impact exchanges or refunds later on. We want to be sure you fully know the ins and outs of your purchase before finalizing.

Shipping: Standard return policy applies only for items originally purchased in-store. For online orders and items shipped from other locations, additional shipping fees and courier services may impact overall process. Check with the supervising location for specific return guidelines.
