How do I reset MyODFW password? ›

ODFW - ODFW Data Clearinghouse - Forgot Password. Enter the e-mail address that you used when setting up your account. A new password will be sent to you immediately.

If you have an ODFW account, you can check your results online (you cannot check your results through the MyODFW app). Go to your profile and under Recreational Portfolio click “Controlled Hunt." If you drew a tag, you will see the term “Selected” next to your hunt choice.

Buy licenses/tags online and print them immediately from any printer—or choose electronic tagging to carry your documents and tag fish and game with the MyODFW mobile app on your phone.

The Hunter/Angler ID# number is printed on all ODFW licenses and tags and stays the same from year to year. It will be known as the “ODFW ID#” in the new licensing system. Hunters and anglers can also enter a phone number or email associated with their ODFW account to verify it in the new system.

Upon submitting a valid username or email address, an email will be sent to the address associated with your profile. The email will contain a link back to our website which will allow you to reset your password.

You might be wondering what happens if you get caught fishing without a license in Oregon or Washington. Fishing without a license is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a fine in addition to the confiscation of your fish, supplies, and gear.

* Resident is defined as a person who has resided in Oregon at least six months immediately prior to applying for a license, tag or permit.

Immediately tag your fish or animal after harvest (by pressing "Validate" on your big game tag or "Add Harvest" on a combined angling tag) and enter required information properly. OSP regularly sees hunters and anglers who fail to immediately tag. There is no excuse because the MyODFW app lets you tag when offline.
