How long does it take to get approved for HomeWAV? ›

In most cases, your account will be reviewed within a 24-hour time period, and the review process typically doesn't take more than two days. When you open the HomeWAV app or log in, your loved one will receive a notification that you are available, and they may initiate a video call.

Instead, voice and video calls are initiated from your loved one when they have access to a HomeWAV kiosk or tablet. Your loved one will be notified via kiosk or tablet once you are signed into your account and available to connect.

HomeWAV's inmate-initiated video visitation application allows for: Video visitation with inmates. Voice calls. Messaging.

Money can be added to the inmate's phone account through www.homewav.com utilizing the "Deposit Funds NOW!" button at the top of the HomeWAV webpage or by coming on-site and using the HomeWAV kiosk in the lobby. Sheriff and Jail Staff can only deliver verifiable emergency telephone messages.

The facility has complete discretion on the use of the texting devices. You will not be able to text other inmates, victims and witness or any other person blocked by the facility. If the facility determines that your behavior is a problem they can terminate the use at any time.

Create a ConnectNetwork account, or sign in if you already have one. Click on “Messaging” and select an existing inmate, or add a new inmate as a Contact. Purchase Message Credits to send a message, photo and/or video to a loved one.
