What is the game of 5000 with 6 dice? ›

THE GAME OF 5000 is a game of chance and choice, played with six dice. Any number can play. Since the last player has an advantage, the first step is to determine by any agreed means the sequence of players. Points are scored with a single die, three dice, or six dice.

The game midnight (1−4−24) involves rolling 6 dice, keeping at least one, then rolling the remaining dice etc, keeping at least one, etc. At the end if you have kept a 1 and a 4, you get to score the remaining 4 dice. If not, you score zero.

PLAY: The first player rolls five dice and decides which dice they want to use for score. If they don't roll any ONES, FIVES or other scoring combinations, their turn is over and they must pass the dice to the next player. Only ONES and FIVES count by themselves.

Craps Terms

An even money bet, made on the first roll of the dice (known as the “come out roll”). You win if a 7 or 11 roll, or lose if 2, 3, or 12 roll (known as “craps”). Any other number that rolls becomes the “point” and the point must roll again before a 7 to win.
