Dr. Kolb is amazing! She teaches real history and real issues pertaining to race and crime and the criminal justice system. She says from the beginning that she want us to learn how to think, not what to think. She has lots of knowledge about this field and gives great lectures. I wish this would have been a full semester course

The worst teacher ever. She is so rude and unprofessional. I literally made an a in this class off of my own strength. Please do not take her if you do not want to flunk your GPA :)

Dr. Kolbs class was great! The lectures were never boring and she always stopped for questions and discussion. She also has some amazing stories from work. Quizzes are easy if you go to class. She allows you to rewrite your assignment if you do bad.

Best prof! Dr. Kolb is an expert in the field and has stories that tie into material. Fun lectures and great in class discussions. Go to class and she will give you the quiz and exam questions and what to expect. She is so chill, ask questions about her job for crazy stories. She is awesome, please take her!!

If you're taking CRIM2245, there's a surprise group presentation. She refuses to show the percentage it's worth so I'll tell you now; it's 40pts. I lost my A because I didn't do it with someone, everyone else was taken. I used to really like Kolb, but she's become lazy in her teachings, and doesn't grade to the rubric (which isn't clear).

I would not recommend this professor! She is not clear on how she grades. She always says something does not meet guidelines, however the guidelines and assignment requirements are not clear. The class had great information but this professor is not good. BEWARE!
